No, I made some inciteful
criticism...
No, screw it. I heckled her:
Hey, @janestreet do you think your article on the the so-called hecking of Heslin is accurate? allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne… cc @michellemalkin
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
By the way, @twitter, I am not
liking the newly pinched version of embedding tweets. Seriously, it sucks.
Because, @janestreet u do know that no heckling actually occurred right? allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne… cc @michellemalkin @twitchyteam @twitchymedia
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
Unless @janestreet thinks that answering a person when they ask you a question is “heckling.” allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne… cc @michellemalkin
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
But by that logic, Obama was heckling @davidgregory when he was interviewed on MTP @janestreet. allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne… cc @michellemalkin
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
MTP = Meet the Press. I figured I would make David Gregory wonder
“why the hell is this schmuck in my timeline again?”
Also does @janestreet really think it's appropriate 2 refer to gun rights supporters as “gun nuts?” allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne… cc @michellemalkin
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
Does @janestreet think it shows that MSNBC is an unbiased source of information when she calls ppl “gun nuts?” allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne…
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
Because in my mind it suggests that @janestreet is a lib proganadist who by the way got a story completely wrong. allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne…
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
And is @janestreet going to issue a correction? Or at least show her audience unedited video? allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne… cc @michellemalkin
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
Slate put up an update correcting pretty much their entire piece.Shouldn’t @janestreet? allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne… cc @michellemalkin
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
Btw, @janestreet do you refer to pro-choicers as "abortion nuts?" allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne… cc @michellemalkin
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
Yeah, I decided to really hammer
her on the “gun nuts” part...
Don't you think it is unprofessional to refer to one side of a debate--who happen to agree with the founders--as "nuts," @janestreet?
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
Can you imagine how @msnbc would freak out if @foxnews called liberals "nuts," @janestreet? allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne…
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
I mean, I know @msnbc is doesn't pretend very much to be unbiased, but "gun nuts?" Really, @janestreet ? allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne…
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
Then I saw where she kinda sort
of did admit they were just answering a question:
the fact is he held their silence against them. And only THEN did they speak up. @janestreet @silvertalon
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
but why should you be honest about "gun nuts?" @janestreet @silvertalon allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne…
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
isn't it a sign that u are losing the argument when u have to lie & call the other side names? @janestreet @silvertalon allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne…
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
but instead you put the word"gun nuts" in your actual headline @janestreet @silvertalon allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne… cc @michellemalkin
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
when @janestreet calls 2nd A supporters "gun nuts" she is not even faking objectivity @silvertalon allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-ne…
— Aaron Worthing (@AaronWorthing) January 30, 2013
Well, I was working on a post on
other people spreading this lie, when I came across her old story again and
saw... a few changes had been made! For
one thing they stopped calling them gun nuts.
And they admitted they were answering his question. They even had a fuller version of the video
clip...
But they still lie and say he
was being heckled, and the fuller clip doesn’t really make it clear he was
addressing the very people who responded.
And it has the line “mocked and loaded” on the screen during it, as
though they were making fun of him.
Really folks, this was actually a pretty respectful response.
So basically MSNBC changed it
just enough so that it is no longer embarrassingly biased, but still
inaccurate. Before the mask had fully slipped and they weren't even pretending to be objective. Now they are pretending to. Of course the title of this post is
joking, but... was anyone else hammering
her as much on the “gun nuts” line as I was?
I don’t think so. So... maybe it
was my work that did it, although the work isn't completed yet.
But in the end they just hate us
gun supporters refusing to lie down and agree with them. Not Mr. Heslin, mind you, but listen to Piers
Morgan’s outrageous outrage and the supposed demeaning of Mr. Heslin.
So, a few things to take from
that clip. First, this should put the
nail in the coffin of the “heckling” theory.
Piers stated that Mr. Heslin didn’t feel he had been heckled, and Mr.
Heslen agreed. That should be that.
Second, Piers does his best to
work himself into a lather over the response anyway. Piers just simply doesn’t like that they
dared to offer a response to his question.
It’s “Shut up! We explained” all over again. He
made a similar argument on Twitter.
And third, Piers Morgan and
Senator Murphy are not opposed to guns.
They just don’t like the ones that are “killing machines.” So I guess he wants us to just have BB guns? Who exactly do they think they are kidding?
Do you see why I think more and
more Piers Morgan is a very stupid man who convinces people he is intelligent
by having the right accent? He sounds
intelligent until you
actually listen to the words coming out of his mouth. Then you realize he is declaring to us
idiotic things like that he
knows about guns because his brother is in the military.
And the ongoing media idiocy
continues. Oliver Willis, who has long
being a Soros puppet (who is also funding Brett Kimberlin!), actually called
pointing out the actual truth about the non-hecking “heckling
truthers.” Sorry, if they were
really heckled, you guys wouldn’t have to lie about it. And Twitchy is right to ask if that makes
Slate heckling truthers, too.
Meanwhile, the Huffington
Post prints this completely misleading account of the incident:
But as he gave
his emotional testimony, pleading with lawmakers to improve mental health
options and to ban assault weapons like the one Adam Lanza used to murder his
child and 25 other people, his speech was interrupted by dozens of audience
members, The Connecticut Post reported.
“I still can't
see why any civilian, anybody in this room in fact, needs weapons of that sort.
You're not going to use them for hunting, even for home protection,"
Heslin said.
Pro-gun
activists responded by calling out: "Second Amendment!"
Undeterred,
Heslin continued. "There are a lot of things that should be changed to
prevent what happened."
Watch the video in my last
post. That’s not what was said right
before or after they shouted their answer as implied in that passage. Indeed that passage doesn’t even imply that
he was asking the audience, let alone that he was holding their respectful
silence against them and that is what prompted them to speak up.
Really, seriously, just go to Twitchy and keep scrolling. They are all over this like monkey ninjas.

My wife and I have lost our jobs
due to the harassment of convicted terrorist Brett Kimberlin, including an
attempt to get us killed and to frame me for a crime carrying a sentence of up
to ten years. I know that claim sounds
fantastic, but if you read starting here, you will see absolute proof of these
claims using documentary and video evidence.
If you would like to help in the fight to hold Mr. Kimberlin
accountable, please hit the Blogger’s Defense Team button on the right. And thank you.

Disclaimer:
I have accused some people,
particularly Brett Kimberlin, of
reprehensible conduct. In some cases, the conduct is even
criminal. In all cases, the only justice I want is through the
appropriate legal process—such as the criminal justice system. I do not want to see vigilante violence
against any person or any threat of such violence. This kind of conduct is not only morally
wrong, but it is counter-productive.
In the particular case of Brett
Kimberlin, I do not want you to even contact him. Do not call him. Do not write him a letter. Do not write him an email. Do not text-message him. Do not engage in any kind of directed
communication. I say this in part
because under Maryland law, that can quickly become harassment and I don’t want
that to happen to him.
And for that matter, don’t go on
his property. Don’t sneak around and try
to photograph him. Frankly try not to
even be within his field of vision. Your
behavior could quickly cross the line into harassment in that way too (not to
mention trespass and other concerns).
And do not contact his organizations,
either. And most of all, leave his family alone.
The only exception to all that is
that if you are reporting on this, there is of course nothing wrong with
contacting him for things like his official response to any stories you might
report. And even then if he tells you to
stop contacting him, obey that request. That
this is a key element in making out a harassment claim under Maryland law—that
a person asks you to stop and you refuse.
And let me say something
else. In my heart of hearts, I don’t
believe that any person supporting me has done any of the above. But if any of you have, stop it, and if you
haven’t don’t start.
