The Brett Kimberlin Saga:

Follow this link to my BLOCKBUSTER STORY of how Brett Kimberlin, a convicted terrorist and perjurer, attempted to frame me for a crime, and then got me arrested for blogging when I exposed that misconduct to the world. That sounds like an incredible claim, but I provide primary documents and video evidence proving that he did this. And if you are moved by this story to provide a little help to myself and other victims of Mr. Kimberlin’s intimidation, such as Robert Stacy McCain, you can donate at the PayPal buttons on the right. And I thank everyone who has done so, and will do so.

Twitter Fascists Try to Silence The Blogger’s Defense Team

This is the latest post in what I half-jokingly call The Kimberlin Saga®.  If you are new to the story, that’s okay! Not everyone reads my blog.  The short version is that Kimberlin has been harassing me since last December, his worst conduct being when he attempted to frame me for a crime.  I recognize that this might sound like an incredible claim, but I provide video and documentary evidence of that fact; in other words, you don’t have to believe my word.  You only have to believe your eyes.  So, if you are new to the story, go to this page and you’ll be able to catch up on what has been happening.

So yesterday when we were announcing the charitable auction and raffle to help in my legal defense fund, I noticed that they created a twitter account for the Blogger’s Defense team called @BloggersDefense.

I knew the moment I saw it what would happen.  You see Twitter empowers its users to block and report people for abuse which makes the critical mistake of trusting its users not to abuse it.  If you get a sufficient number of reports of abuse—well-founded or not—an algorithm kicks in shutting down your entire account until a human can hear the appeal.  It is nice to deal with the spambots who come in on a regular basis, but it has been commonly used as a method of suppression of speech one merely doesn’t like.  We call this the Twitter Gulag.

You can read much more about it, here.  Now previously when Dana Loesch’s husband, Chris, was “gulaged” people started using the hashtag #FreeChrisLoesch.  So how about people start tweeting #FreeBloggersDefense?  Let’s show Twitter how we feel about this.

And please pass around the word about this auction and raffle.  Their purpose in doing this was to harm our ability to generate publicity for the auction/reaffle and the best revenge for this act of digital fascism is a full dose of the Streisand Effect.

And for once, can twitter punish those who abused this feature?

As for who did it, I won’t say that Brett Kimberlin is behind it.  In fact, I doubt this aging post-hippy dinosaur understands Twitter enough to be capable of doing personally.  Nor can I say Kimberlin ordered it.  But like when I was SWATted back in June, you have to believe that it was done by someone sympathetic to his cause.  Its nothing more than the principle of Occam's Razor.

And just like my SWATting, it's a sign of their desperation.
