A Black Hole of Chutzpah Has Appeared: Bill Clinton Attacks Romney As Untruthful

This is it.  A singularity is tearing through the political sphere right now, a black hole of chutzpah the likes of which you are not likely to see again.

Bill Clinton has attacked Mitt Romney—and by extension defended Barack Obama—by saying...  no, I won’t just characterize it because you won’t believe me if I do.  Let me quote it, but stand back lest you are sucked in: “Who wants a president who will knowingly, repeatedly tell you something he knows is not true?”

I know what you are thinking.  No, come on, Bill Clinton can’t be that unaware.  He can’t have really said that, could he?

The quote comes at about the forty five second march and is tearing apart the fabric of reality itself.

The Closing Argument, Part II: Bull____

This is Part II in a series.  Part I is here.

The title comes from Obama’s rich accusation about a week ago, that Mitt Romney was a bull____ter, only with the blank filled in.  That came in an article in Rolling Stone, where he had this exchange:

I was reminded of this incident when our interview with the president ended. As we left the Oval Office, executive editor Eric Bates told Obama that he had asked his six-year-old if there was anything she wanted him to say to the president. After a thoughtful pause, she said, “Tell him: You can do it.”

Obama grinned. “That’s the only advice I need,” he said. “I do very well, by the way, in that demographic. Ages six to 12? I’m a killer.”

“Thought about lowering the voting age?” Bates joked.

“You know, kids have good instincts,” Obama offered. “They look at the other guy and say, ‘Well, that’s a bull_____ter, I can tell.’“

Now first, there is the sheer crassness of the comment.  Look, I am not personally overly offended by cursing in and of itself.  And if this was just one of those “hot mike moments” I consider it to be no big deal.  But the fact is hundreds of schoolchildren across the country keep track of the campaign and thus candidates for President (and Presidents themselves), need to keep it clean.  And the president failed to do that.

Look it’s not the worst thing in the world, but it was wrong of him to do it.  He shouldn’t make excuses, he should just apologize for not behaving in a Presidential manner.

But the bizarre thing is just how easily you can make the charge against Obama, that he is a bull____ter.  It’s projection (oh, where have I heard that before?).  I mean let’s run down the list.

The Closing Argument Part I: The Charts

I have been thinking of writing a closing argument on Barack Obama’s presidency, but I have been more pressed for time than I would like.  But I thought I could take a few minutes to give to you, dear reader, what I consider to be the devastating, charts that demonstrate that Obama has to go.  Each of them I consider to be objective and brutal evidence of the incompetency of this administration.  Hopefully this will be the first in a series of posts.

First, the actual and projected unemployment rate:

As you can see, it shows you how Obama said it would be if we passed the stimulus, how bad he claimed it would be without the stimulus, and the actual reality which is worse than both.  There are only two explanations for that chart.  The first explanation is that he stinks at predictions.  The second is that he actually made things worse.

And either way it means he needs to be replaced.  Either he is given to spending massive amounts of our money without actually knowing if it will do any good, or his “help” actually hurts us.  Either way, it is time for a new captain.
