Well, dear readers, a whole lot happened yesterday and I wanted to get some sleep on it and reflect before I reported.

Let me set up how I found out the news, because I think it highlights the ridiculousness of recent events.

Yesterday just before 3:00 pm, John Hoge gave me a call opening with the words, “You are not going to believe this.”  He means that ironically, because I am beyond surprise anymore when it comes to Brett Kimberlin’s vexatious litigation and John knows it.  So I ask what it was and he tells me about the brand new RICO lawsuit that Brett Kimberlin filed against John and others.  You can read the complaint, here.  The short version is that Brett Kimberlin has long had this paranoid conspiracy theory involving HB Gary and their Team Themis plan that by the way, never went into effect.  Which is a huge problem for Brett because if it was only at the planning stage, then what exactly is the harm?

So, dear reader, I am going to break my blogging hiatus to talk about the latest Peace Order hearing, held yesterday.  And if you want to understand what peace orders are and some of the law behind them, go here but essentially it is what most states call a “restraining order” when issued between people who are legally strangers (in other words, not family, not lovers, etc.).

Now, as usual, I try to protect the innocent from the collateral damage done by Mr. Kimberlin’s “brass knuckle reputation management.”  This is particularly tricky here, because an innocent is the center of the story, Brett Kimberlin’s eldest daughter, who I will call K. Kimberlin or something like “his teenage daughter.”  There is an argument to be made that by allowing herself to participate in an attempt to censor Brett’s enemies, she made it fair game to take the gloves off.  But I still am willing to accept that she still might ultimately be as much a victim of her father as anyone else, and given that ambiguity, and the fact we are talking about a fifteen year old girl, I won’t even name her in this article.  It isn’t hard to find her name (her father has seen to that), but I am not going to be the one to make that connection.  And we will talk about how her father saw to this in a moment.

Anyway, so it was “K. Kimberlin v. William J. J. Hoge, III,” case number: 0601SP012712015.  And of course William is generally known as John.

So let’s set the table a little more, folks.  While I have mentioned it on Twitter, I have not talked in detail about the peace order petition.  This was at the request of John’s lawyer, Patrick Ostronic.  But that embargo ends now.  So let’s start with the actual petition itself.  Let me suggest you neither drink liquids nor hold anything in your hand, because you are likely to either do a spit take or throw something across the room.  It is both silly and infuriating, depending on your disposition:

Hey, can I go a little off track today?  It seems appropriate, because I have a lot on my mind.  But, dear reader, before I am done you are going to get the latest filings in the Brett Kimberlin RICO case.

As you know by now, about three Islamofascist terrorists went and murdered nearly a dozen people in Paris, France, starting their rampage at Charlie Hebdo, which isn’t a person, but the name of a satirical magazine.  You can read about one of many accounts, here.  The prevailing belief is that this was done because they often published cartoons mocking Mohammed.

Here’s an example of one, allegedly:

I say allegedly, because I don’t read a word of French.  But the overwhelming claim is that this is Mohammed in these pictures.  Certainly they had insulted Mohammed in caricature form now and then.

And so that goes back to something I was reasonably deeply involved in, the first Everyone Draw Mohammed Day, way back on May 20, 2010.  I even started a site called “Everyone Draw Mohammed” that I let go defunct for a number of reasons, and, yes, might be resurrected now.

The reason for that protest, as I saw it, was summed up in the mission statement I wrote , which has been recently recovered and I will update slightly:

Blogging will continue to be light in the near future, but it is Christmas and I wanted to share with you an update of a story that touched more than a few readers.  As I told you in my last post, Addie Fausett is a little girl who is dying.  She had an undiagnosed illness that was keeping her from growing, and doctors told her in November she probably only had a year to live.  And so her family wanted people to send her a “lifetime” of Christmas cards, this year, and you delivered.  Via People:

And a lot of people are sending her Christmas cards.  You see, this precious girl has got far too little time left in this world and this article explains why:

And slowly since then, the bubbly and energetic little girl who now weighs just 23 pounds continues to struggle.

Update: It is also worth noting that like with John Hoge, Brett sent service of process late and misled the court about that fact, in violation of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.

 Just a quick notice to my readers, barring any surprising turn of events I will suspend blogging for the near future.  Like hopefully a week.  On Monday, Brett Kimberlin filed his opposition to my motion to dismiss his dumb RICO case, which you can read in all its “glory” here.  While I will play it close to my vest in terms of strategy, I will note that it is exceptionally clear that he has just given up.  After being granted an extension to reply of over four months, most of his opposition is simply cutting and pasting from prior oppositions.  That isn’t necessarily wrong, mind you, but the problem is that he has cut and pasted sections that were not only wrong, but I and others had shown him how wrong it was.  So he’s barely trying anymore.

Regular readers might also wonder what will happen to my review of the Darren Wilson grand jury transcripts.  The answer is that the series will continue, but will be delayed until I got that reasonably “in the can.”

Anyway, I appreciate your patience, and your faith in me.

Brett Kimberlin is an Admitted Pedophile

This is of course a takeoff on three prior posts I did.  One was called Brett Kimberlin is a Pedophile.  In it, I provided evidence that he was in fact a pedophile, and stated my opinion that I was convinced by the evidence.  I remain convinced, for what that is worth.  The second is called Brett Kimberlin is an Adjudicated Pedophile in which I reported that Brett had sued me for defamation for calling him a pedophile, and he lost on the issue of truth.  And the third is called A Legal Note: Brett Kimberlin is an Adjudicated Pedophile the Same Way the Amityville Horror House is Haunted, in which I explained that under the rules of estoppel he can no longer deny that he is a pedophile.  And now, through his latest filing in the state case, Brett has become an admitted pedophile.
